JEE Advance

Eligibility For JEE ADVANCED 2013
You might be aware that the candidates aspiring to join the IITs have to first clear JEE Main examination.Only top 1,50,000 candidates (including all reservations) based on the performance in the JEE Main examination will be considered as qualified to appear for the JEE Advanced examination. The various categories from which the candidates of are selected are as given bellow 50.5% from the common merit lis.This is approximately accounts for 75,750 candidates of General Merit.Note that some of the reserved category candidates may also be included in this list.

JEE Main 2013 Exam Papers

JEE Main Eligibility

A Candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (class XII) or its equivalent qulifying examination.Those appearing in 10+2 (class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in in JEE MAIN exam Provisionally.Candidates are allowed maximium of 3 consecutive attempts.

JEE main Pattern

For paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech Courses), it is in both offline and online mode.

For paper 2 (B.Arch/B.Planning Courses), it is in  offline and mode only.

Duration :3 hrs

Objective type questions with equal weightage type Physics, Chemistry And Methematics.Four option with single correct answer.Each question have 4 marks.

Negative marking- for each incorrect answer, one fourth (1/4) of the total marks alloted to the question would be deducted.No give answer will mean no deduction of marks.
